Priority Partners Honored with Impact of Excellence Award

Priority Partners is proud to have received the first-ever “Impact of Excellence Award” from Living Word Seventh-day Adventist Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The award was presented during the church’s Community Guest Day on May 23. It honors our work to fight food insecurity and help low-income individuals and families in Anne Arundel County get the health care they need. Living Word created this award to recognize organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives through compassion and community service — and we are deeply grateful to be the first recipients.

We were chosen for two programs we are especially proud of: the Cupboards Project free neighborhood mini-pantries and our work connecting Medicaid members with health care services at no or low cost. Launched in 2021, the Cupboards Project has placed ten free, self-serve mini-pantries across Maryland neighborhoods that work on a “Take What You Need, Leave What You Can” basis. Three “Club on the Go” mobile pantries bring the program to even more people.
