At Priority Partners, we know that health and well-being are about more than just doctor visits. It’s also about taking on the challenges that many of our members face daily, so our communities can achieve their best health.
That’s why across Maryland, you’ll find us working alongside community stakeholders to provide resources, education, funding and other support wherever it is needed.

We’re Not Just a Medicaid Health Plan. We’re Partners in the Community.
Priority Partners
Cupboards Project
The Cupboards Project is a growing network of custom-built food pantries that provide free healthy food and nutrition information to Maryland neighborhoods in need. The food pantries work by a simple motto: “Take What You Need, Leave What You Can.”
Community Health Advocates (CHAs)
CHAs are your neighbors. They’re an active part of the communities they serve. You can find CHAs attending local outreach events throughout the year. These events are valuable opportunities for CHAs to provide health and community resources, free clothing, food and more.
Community Grants
Building strong working relationships with like-minded community organizations empowers them to have a greater impact for good. By helping them succeed at what they do best, we help drive better health outcomes in the communities we call home. Last year we awarded $120,000 in grants to community organizations.

Making Maryland Medicaid Members Our Priority
Priority Partners is a Maryland managed care organization that provides health care services through Medicaid, Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP), and Medical Assistance for Families recipients.
Along with Johns Hopkins Medicine, we work in partnership with seven Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Maryland. FQHCs provide community-based care for children and adults, regardless of ability to pay. FQHCs have a strong track record of improving health outcomes for low-income, underserved populations, and we are proud to be united in partnership to uplift the health and well-being of our communities.
