Up for Priority Partners

To become a Priority Partners member, you must first apply for Maryland Medicaid. You must meet certain income and other requirements for you or your family members to qualify.

Reapply for membership

Once your application for Maryland Medicaid has been approved, you will receive an enrollment package in the mail. It has important information for finishing your enrollment.

With your enrollment package on hand, log in to your Maryland Health Connection account to finish your enrollment. When prompted, choose Priority Partners as your managed care organization (MCO).

You can enroll in an MCO and choose a primary care provider (PCP) through the Maryland Health Connection. You have three ways to apply:

You will be able to choose your MCO as one of the steps in the process.

Here’s how you can renew your health benefits:

  • Online at Maryland Health Connection – Login to your account, then go to “Start New Application” from the Quick Links on the Account Home page
  • Use the Maryland Health Connection mobile app
  • Call the Maryland Health Connection Call Center at 855-642-8572 (TTY: 855-642-8573)
  • In person at your local health department; or local Department of Social Services.

The Maryland Department of Health strives to process applications within days of receiving them. Once your application is approved, you have 28 days to select one of the HealthChoice MCOs to provide your health benefits. Services become available 10 days after you choose an MCO.

Call Priority Partners any time you have a question or need help with your health care. Some examples of when to call are: to change your primary care doctor, to add a newborn and mom on the baby’s date of birth, to verify enrollment eligibility, or to get a new ID card.
