• Where can I get a flu shot?

  Priority Partners members can receive a flu shot at their primary doctor’s office or at one of many flu network pharmacies, including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid, and more. Find a nearby pharmacy.

• Can the flu shot give me the flu?

  No, the flu shot cannot cause flu illness. The viruses contained in flu shots are inactivated (killed), which means they cannot cause infection.

• Are there different types of flu shots?

  There are different types of flu shots, and the CDC recommends you receive whatever is available at your pharmacy or doctor’s office.

• How much does it cost?

  You will not be reimbursed for flu vaccines paid out of pocket. Please make sure to go to one of our vaccine network flu pharmacies where your flu vaccine will be free! Find a pharmacy in our vaccine network where you can get the flu vaccine.

• Which brands of the flu vaccine are covered at network flu vaccine pharmacies?

  All standard Trivalent and Quadrivalent available brands of the flu vaccine, including FluMist (nasal spray), are covered at network flu vaccine pharmacies. • What other vaccines can I get at the pharmacy instead of my PCP’s office?

  Shingrix is a vaccine against the Herpes Zoster that can be administered by your doctor or your pharmacist at a vaccine network pharmacy.
